Shop
As an official shop of the Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, SAKAI KŌKODŌ operates two stores, SAKAI KŌKODŌ YAMAFUJI on Asakusa Nakamise and SAKAI KŌKODŌ SEIGA on Dempoin Street. We sell art postcards and greeting cards with well-known works such as Katsushika Hokusai’s Thirty-Six views of Mt. Fuji or Utagawa Hiroshige’s Fifty-Three Stations of Tokaido.
In addition, we have some original Ukiyo-e from hundred to hundred fifty years ago. You can see the Ukiyo-e of the time, so please drop by if you are Ukiyo-e lovers.
SAKAI KŌKODŌ YAMAFUJI
The old Ukiyo-e company established in 1873 opened a shop in Nakamise Asakusa Tokyo in 2007. Located in the heart of Asakusa where many Ukiuo-e artists lived and worked, the shops enjoy a wide range of customers of all ages and nationalities. Ukiyo-e fans from all over the world visit the shops.

SAKAI KŌKODŌ SEIGA
The second store of SAKAI KŌKODŌ opened in 2016 on Dempoin street in Asakusa, Tokyo. The item lineup is the same as YAMAFUJI, but it is more spacious, and the customers can appreciate Ukiyo-e taking more time.
